FAQ

Everything you need to know about getting new hires up to speed with boardingon.ai.

What is boardingon.ai?

It's AI-powered employee onboarding software that helps companies get new hires to self-sufficiency faster. You build a guided onboarding plan, your hire works through it day by day, and you see their progress in real time.

Who is it for?

Managers and company owners who onboard new people and want them productive sooner — without living in spreadsheets or repeating the same walkthrough every time someone joins. It works whether you're onboarding one person or a whole team.

How does the AI onboarding plan work?

You paste in a role along with your existing materials — SOPs, notes, or Loom videos — and the AI drafts a full onboarding plan with structured steps, flagging gaps as it goes. You review the draft, adjust anything that doesn't fit, and publish it for your new hire.

What does the new hire actually do?

Each hire opens a simple daily view with their steps grouped into catch up, today, coming up, and completed. They work a step, tick the checklist, attach proof like a file or a link, and mark it complete — and their progress moves forward automatically.

What does the manager see?

A live status board with each hire's health and progress, plus a "needs you today" list that flags anyone falling behind. You can open any hire to see their plan, review their submitted proof, leave notes, and send a nudge — all in one place.

How does the review process work?

When a hire submits proof for a step, it lands in your review inbox. You approve it or send it back for a redo — sending it back reopens that step for the hire, so nothing gets marked done until it genuinely is.

Can I use it for more than one company?

Yes. boardingon.ai is built to keep each company fully separate, with its own private, branded workspace — its own logo, its own people, and its own onboarding plans, kept isolated from everyone else's on the platform.

How is our data handled?

Every company's data is kept private and separated from all other companies on the platform, and access is permission-based — each person only sees what their role allows, and hires only ever see their own onboarding.
