Cookie Policy

Our cookie policy and how we use them

Last updated: July 16, 2026

boardingon.ai is an early-stage product. This Cookie Policy is a good-faith draft written by our team, not by a lawyer, and it is not legal advice. It will be reviewed by legal counsel alongside our Terms and Privacy Policy before the first real employee data is onboarded. Questions in the meantime: hello@boardingon.ai.

This Cookie Policy explains how boardingon.ai uses cookies and similar technologies on our website (boardingon.ai and company subdomains such as acme.boardingon.ai) and in the app. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help websites function and remember information about your visit. Some are set by us (first-party) and some by the services we use (third-party).

The cookies we use

We keep this simple. We use two categories only: cookies that are strictly necessary to run the Service, and analytics cookies on our public website. We do not use advertising, marketing, targeting, or social-media cookies.

Strictly necessary cookies

These keep you signed in, maintain your session, and keep the platform secure. They are set by our authentication provider to deliver the Service you asked for, so they are always on; blocking them will prevent sign-in and core parts of the Service from working.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics)

On our public marketing website we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. It sets cookies (such as those whose names begin with _ga) that collect pseudonymous usage data, which is sent to Google. We do not run Google Analytics inside the signed-in app, so your activity while using the product is not fed to it. Google's use of this data is described in Google's own policies, and you can opt out across sites with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Consent — where things stand

Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent. Analytics cookies are not strictly necessary, and in some regions (such as the EU and UK) they require your prior consent. We are honest that we do not yet display a cookie consent banner; adding a consent mechanism is on our pre-launch list and part of the legal review noted above. In the meantime, you can decline analytics using the browser controls and the Google opt-out below.

Managing cookies

Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings, including blocking or deleting them; note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will stop sign-in from working. You can also use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on linked above to decline analytics specifically.

Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy as the product, our analytics, or the law changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
